Where Tradition Creates Connection

From the very beginning, Pi Phi traditions create opportunities to engage, celebrate and support one another. Through these moments, friendships are formed, strengthened and carried forward long after college.

Sweet Moments Worth Savoring

One of Pi Phi’s oldest and most beloved traditions, the Cookie Shine has been bringing sisters together for generations. Often centered around sharing treats and sweet memories with sisters, Cookie Shines create spaces to connect and celebrate what it means to be part of Pi Phi.

A Little Pink, A Lot of Fun

A sweet and spirited Pi Phi tradition, Pink Parties are filled with music, treats and plenty of pink. While each chapter puts its own spin on the experience, every Pink Party brings members together to celebrate sisterhood and Sincere Friendship.

Music That Carries Us Forward

For generations, Pi Phi songs have been a meaningful way for sisters to connect. From favorites like “Ring, Ching, Ching” to “Take a Little Golden Arrow,” these songs carry memories and traditions that unite Pi Phis everywhere.

Where Pi Phi Comes Together

Every two years, Pi Phis from across the United States and Canada come together for convention, a time to celebrate our accomplishments and shape the future of our sisterhood. At convention, members connect across generations, share their chapter spirit during the Banner Parade and conduct Fraternity business.

A Celebration of Our Legacy

Founders’ Day is a time to honor Pi Phi’s history and the bold vision of our 12 founders at Monmouth College. Celebrated annually on April 28, it brings members together to reflect on our legacy and the role Pi Phi plays in their lives today.

A Legacy That Endures

Founded in 1867 by 12 courageous women at Monmouth College, Pi Phi was built on a foundation of shared values and genuine friendship. Nearly 160 years later, that legacy connects more than 350,000 members across generations.
