"I joined Pi Phi at the University of Central Florida and I remember running home on Bid Day feeling like I was on cloud nine. Unfortunately, my financial circumstances changed a few months later and I had to withdraw. Fast forward to 2025 when I stumbled upon the Alumna Initiate Program. Those moments of excitement came rushing back, and I wondered, ‘Could this be my second chance at sisterhood?'"

“When asked if I was interested in the Alumna Initiate Program, I immediately said yes! Through my friend, Minnesota Alpha Jill Ingvalson Fisher, I had already seen the impact of Pi Phi and connected with its values. I don’t have any biological sisters, but with Pi Phi, I’ve found sisterhood in every meaningful way.”

“After participating in recruitment during my sophomore year and meeting the women of Indiana Zeta, I dreamed of joining Pi Beta Phi. The morning of preference round, however, I received a call that my grandfather had passed away and immediately went home to be with family. After discovering an article about alumna initiation, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. My initiation was a beautiful experience I will always treasure.”

“My mom grew up in a college town and always wahttps://testing.pibetaphi.org/wp-admin/post.php?post=76&action=edit&classic-editor#nted to join a sorority, but her family did not have the money she needed to join. She had friends in the Pi Phi chapter and always thought that would have been where she would have joined had it been an option. When my sister and I told mom we were initiating her as an alumna, she burst out crying, “You mean I finally get to be a Pi Phi?”
