Our Roots

Just prior to the Great Depression, the Winnipeg Area, Manitoba, Alumnae Club was founded in 1930. Members supported the forces overseas through various events and fundraisers. The club also faced the 1950 Red River flood, leading many members to learn how to fill and stack sandbags to stop the river from flooding further.
