Our Roots

Washington Beta began as a local society, Phi Alpha Epsilon, before officially becoming installed as a chapter of Pi Beta Phi in 1912 by past Grand President Anna Lytle Tannahill (Brannon), Nebraska Beta. Installation took place over the summer, and the Initiation Ceremony was held later that year. The chapter’s charter was suspended in 2012 and later reorganized in 2015.

Supporting Sisters’ Dreams

Chapter-specific scholarship funds support collegiate chapter members as they pursue their academic dreams and professional goals. By giving to a scholarship fund, donors can directly impact their own chapter sisters and open doors that might not have been possible otherwise.
