Our Roots

In 1999, past Grand President Lisa Gamel Scott, Colorado Alpha, moved to Pagosa Springs and hoped to join a local alumnae club. She quickly discovered there was no alumnae club in the small community, so she called the handful of members who lived in town and invited them to a meeting to discuss forming a local group. Everyone she contacted was happy to join, and shortly after that meeting, the San Juan, Colorado, Alumnae Club was chartered.
