Our Roots
Originally formed as the local group Delta Psi in 1978, the organization became the Pennsylvania Eta Chapter on October 4, 1980, with 59 collegiate members and one alumna initiate welcomed as charter members. The installation weekend began with a Cookie Shine hosted by visiting chapters and alumnae. On Saturday, initiation took place at College Hill Presbyterian Church, followed by an evening banquet where past Grand President Jean Wirths Scott, Pennsylvania Beta, officially installed the chapter. The weekend concluded Sunday with a model chapter meeting, a tour of the newly established chapter facility and a reception for family, friends and the campus community.Collegiate Chapter Leadership

Pi Phi chapter facilities are where friendships take root, leaders find their voice and sisterhood shines across generations. From memories made over shared meals to the built-in support from late-night study sessions and knowing your sisters are there in both the big and small moments, living in a chapter facility creates a sense of home and belonging within every wall.
