Our Roots
A local group of women, Lambda Phi, was formed in 1901 and officially became the Illinois Theta Chapter in 1947 after installation by past Grand President Amy Burnham Onken, Illinois Epsilon. Initiation Ceremonies took place over the course of a few days and concluded with a Cookie Shine at the City Women’s Club, hosted by the Peoria, Illinois, Alumnae Club. The installation banquet was held at the Block and Kuhl Skyline Dining Room.Collegiate Chapter Leadership

Supporting Sisters’ Dreams
Chapter-specific scholarship funds support collegiate chapter members as they pursue their academic dreams and professional goals. By giving to a scholarship fund, donors can directly impact their own chapter sisters and open doors that might not have been possible otherwise.
Creating Homes that Last
A Chapter House Improvement Program (CHIP) Fund allows chapter alumnae to make tax-deductible contributions in support of their chapter facility to fund qualified educational projects and expenses. From refreshed living areas to upgraded study rooms, CHIP Funds support both a premier housing experience and the members who call these spaces home.
When you're with her, you’re home
Pi Phi chapter facilities are where friendships take root, leaders find their voice and sisterhood shines across generations. From memories made over shared meals to the built-in support from late-night study sessions and knowing your sisters are there in both the big and small moments, living in a chapter facility creates a sense of home and belonging within every wall.
