Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend College Weekend?

All Executive Council positions and AAC members are invited to attend College Weekend. Chapters may send as many attendees as they would like. Of course, there are some important considerations to keep in mind when deciding who your chapter should send.

    • Chapter budget–What funds are available to send a member? Registration and travel expenses are typically covered by the chapter.
    • Current chapter leaders–Who is likely to gain the most from the College Weekend experience and curriculum?
    • Needs of the chapter–Which colleges (tracks) offer the most valuable information for your chapter?

Before determining who your chapter should send to College Weekend, seek the insight of your AAC and, if needed, your Regional Team.

What if a chapter Vice President is unable to attend?

If a Vice President is unable to attend, one Director on their specialty team may take their place. It is recommended that an AAC member who is within their first few years serving and/or has not attended College Weekend in the past register for the event.

How do I bill my registration fees to my chapter?

Once you reach the payment screen, please select the option “Bill My Chapter”. Once selected, type in the name of the chapter, e.g., “Alaska Alpha,” to ensure the fees are billed to the chapter you are representing. Chapters will be notified of any College Weekend related charges to be deducted in a separate email, following their monthly statement.

Do I need to do anything prior to attending?

It is required for all officers to complete their training courses on the Pi Beta Phi Online Learning Center prior to attending College Weekend.

How are hotel accommodations arranged, and can I choose my roommate or upgrade to a single room?

Hotel accommodations will be arranged for all registered attendees at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis. When registering, you may select to share a room or choose to upgrade to a single room.

If selecting a shared room, you will be given an opportunity to request a roommate or be assigned one. Headquarters staff will do their best to accommodate your request; however, we are unable to guarantee a specific roommate request. We recommend connecting with your selected roommate ahead of registration, so you can both indicate the preference. Alumnae members will be assigned alumnae roommates; collegiate members will be assigned collegiate members.
