Each year, Pi Beta Phi Foundation provides undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships and Alumnae Continuing Education awards to support Pi Phi women in their academic journeys. Each award is made possible through donor generosity.

Scholarships & Grants FAQs

How can I apply for a scholarship?

Scholarship applications open November 15 and are due February 15. You’ll complete one online application to be considered for all scholarships you’re eligible for, including submitting required materials and recommendations. Be sure to review eligibility requirements and gather your materials before applying!

What are the eligibility requirements for scholarships?

Applicants must be Pi Phi collegians or alumnae in good standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or equivalent). Individual scholarships may have additional criteria based on academic focus, chapter affiliation or other factors. Visit the Resource Library to explore opportunities and details.

What do I need to apply for a scholarship?

To apply, you’ll complete an online application and submit supporting materials, including academic information, financial details and involvement in Pi Phi, campus and community activities. You’ll also need a transcript and to secure two recommendations. Be sure to gather your materials in advance to ensure your application is complete by the February 15 deadline.

How do I apply for a grant?

To apply for a grant, complete the application that best fits your situation, including collegiate, alumna or disaster relief support. The process is confidential, and applications are reviewed to provide assistance during times of need.
