Our Roots
California Theta began as a local group of women, Pianta Su, and officially became a chapter of Pi Beta Phi in 1980 with past Grand President Jean Wirths Scott, Pennsylvania Beta, leading the installation. During the festivities, the Nevada Alpha Chapter provided banners, the Contra Costa, California, Alumnae Club gave sewing kits to New Members and the California Beta Chapter made calligraphy copies of “The Arrow Song” for each new initiate to treasure.Collegiate Chapter Leadership

When you're with her, you’re home
Pi Phi chapter facilities are where friendships take root, leaders find their voice and sisterhood shines across generations. From memories made over shared meals to the built-in support from late-night study sessions and knowing your sisters are there in both the big and small moments, living in a chapter facility creates a sense of home and belonging within every wall.
