Our Roots
Past Grand Treasurer Anne Stuart, Nebraska Beta, served as the installing officer for Kansas Beta, as she encouraged the women of a local sorority, Pi Kappa Phi, to become a chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Following a successful petition, Pi Kappa Phi was officially established as the Kansas Beta Chapter, and the original signed petition now hangs in the chapter facility as a lasting tribute to that milestone. To celebrate, the installation banquet took place at the Carnegie Library in Manhattan, Kansas.Collegiate Chapter Leadership

A Chapter House Improvement Program (CHIP) Fund allows chapter alumnae to make tax-deductible contributions in support of their chapter facility to fund qualified educational projects and expenses. From refreshed living areas to upgraded study rooms, CHIP Funds support both a premier housing experience and the members who call these spaces home.
