Our Roots
Impressed by the University of Georgia and its potential for growth, the 1938 Asheville Convention unanimously voted to establish the Georgia Alpha Chapter. In September 1938, eight Pi Phis transferred to the university to recruit and establish the new chapter, and Georgia Alpha was officially installed in 1939 by past Grand President Amy Burnham Onken, Illinois Epsilon. Installation took place at the Georgian Hotel just off campus in downtown Athens, Georgia.Collegiate Chapter Leadership

Creating Homes that Last
A Chapter House Improvement Program (CHIP) Fund allows chapter alumnae to make tax-deductible contributions in support of their chapter facility to fund qualified educational projects and expenses. From refreshed living areas to upgraded study rooms, CHIP Funds support both a premier housing experience and the members who call these spaces home.
When you're with her, you’re home
Pi Phi chapter facilities are where friendships take root, leaders find their voice and sisterhood shines across generations. From memories made over shared meals to the built-in support from late-night study sessions and knowing your sisters are there in both the big and small moments, living in a chapter facility creates a sense of home and belonging within every wall.
