Our Roots

A local group of women, Pi Phi Epsilon, was formed in 1941 and officially became the Indiana Epsilon Chapter in 1942 after installation by past Grand President Amy Burnham Onken, Illinois Epsilon. The ceremonies began in Greencastle, Indiana, the same place where Pi Phi’s third convention in 1872 was held. Installation activities included a Cookie Shine at the new chapter house, an Initiation Ceremony at the Gobin Memorial Church and a formal banquet in the large dining room of Mason Hall on campus.

Supporting Sisters’ Dreams

Chapter-specific scholarship funds support collegiate chapter members as they pursue their academic dreams and professional goals. By giving to a scholarship fund, donors can directly impact their own chapter sisters and open doors that might not have been possible otherwise.
