Columbia, SC Alumnae Club

Pi Phi bonds don’t fade after graduation—they only grow stronger. Whether you’ve moved to a new city or are looking to reconnect with sisters in your area, alumnae clubs offer friendship and support no matter where life takes you.

Our Roots

On April 8, 1933, South Carolina Alpha Maude Hawkins wrote Iowa Gamma Ruth Barrett Smith requesting a charter for the Columbia, South Carolina, Alumnae Club. She was advised by Ruth that the club needed a minimum of ten members, and thirteen Pi Phis then signed a petition to establish the new club. The Columbia, South Carolina, Alumnae Club was officially chartered that year.
