Our Roots

Chartered in 1912 as the Western Massachusetts Alumnae Club, the Pioneer Valley Alumnae Club was founded by notable leaders, including Vermont Beta Grace Goodhue Coolidge, later First Lady of the United States. The club was renamed the Greater Springfield, Massachusetts, Alumnae Club in 1954 and rechartered in 1960, before adopting its current name in 2005.
